About Your Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Project Management to lead our Project Management function and oversee our Quality Assurance team. Reporting directly to the CIO, this senior role is central to driving the successful delivery of complex, high-impact technology initiatives across the business.
In this position, you will manage our team of project managers, guiding the planning and execution of software development and broader technology projects. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including development, operations, QA, and senior leadership—to ensure projects are aligned with business goals, delivered efficiently, and meet high quality standards. Oversight of the QA function will also be part of your remit, ensuring that quality and delivery are seamlessly integrated.
The ideal candidate will bring at least eight years of project management experience, including leadership roles within FinTech, online trading, or financial services. You should be adept at managing multiple project streams, comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels, and experienced in Agile and portfolio delivery frameworks.

What you’ll be doing
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Project Management team, ensuring consistent and effective delivery across all business and technology streams
- Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and governance of cross-functional technology projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and business priorities
- Manage and mentor project managers, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional development across the team
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to define and refine project portfolios, balancing strategic goals with available resources and delivery capacity
- Ensure consistent, high-quality requirement gathering and project scoping processes, translating business needs into actionable plans
- Coordinate cross-functional technology resources—including Development, QA, Mobile, Web, Infrastructure, Operations, and DB teams—for smooth, on-time project execution
- Directly oversee the Quality Assurance function to ensure that testing and product quality are fully integrated into the development lifecycle and aligned with delivery goals
- Monitor and report on project and portfolio health, delivery risks, and strategic blockers to the CIO and executive leadership
- Act as the executive escalation point for project-related issues and lead resolution efforts for high-priority challenges impacting delivery
- Champion a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement within the Project Management and QA teams
What we are looking for
- 8+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with 3+ in a leadership role
- A certification such as PMP or PRINCE2
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
- Background in Forex, Financial Services, or FinTech
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with tools like JIRA or Redmine
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and in a team
- Proven experience managing stakeholders and product owners
- Additional certification in Development or IT Service Management is a plus
