This is an ideal opportunity for an individual that holds a keen interest in understanding business processes in the field of Financial Services. The role encompasses managing small and medium projects in easyMarkets, meeting with stakeholders, creating documentation, writing User Stories and Project Requirements, identifying problems, and finding solutions.
You should possess the knowledge and experience needed to help the company enhance business processes through technology deliverables. You should also have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of business operations and IT systems.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage small/medium projects for Business streams at all stages of its implementation (Preparation, planning, execution, control and completion), namely:
- Determining the composition of the project Team;
- Prepare High-quality and detailed project plans;
- Preparation of all necessary documentation for the project
- Conducting regular Scrum – meetings with the internal Team involved to the Project, conducting regular meetings with the Stakeholders
- Communicate with Internal Stakeholders (i.e. Marketing, Sales, Compliance etc) to understand both their high-level needs and create detailed requirements
- Create high quality and mature requirements for development (“as is” documentation, “to be”- preparation BRD, technical documentation, knowing BPMN notation for the diagrams preparation, presentation preparation, writing regression testing documents, test-cases)
- Communicate in the language of the business and translate into the language of IT in collaboration with Developers
- Act as a mediator to prepare recommendations regarding the approach to testing between QA and Development teams
- Understanding systems: Back-end, Front-end, Mob-app, external systems and leveraging that knowledge to drive improvements and system modernization (including “as is”, “to be” documentation preparation, process modeling)
- Evaluate current business processes in the company, document them, identify problems and shortcomings in the systems that support them.
- Participating in the release management procedure
What we’re looking for
- 4+ years of working experience as a Project Manager/Business Analyst
- Experience in the Forex Industry, or Financial Services/Fintech is required
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
- Strong communications skills, ability to gather information independently, and work autonomously, and attention to detail.
- Experience with project & task management systems such JIRA or Redmine, VISIO, Microsoft office
- A Qualification in project management methodology, PMI PMBoK Standard (or equivalent) will be taken as an advantage
- Strong analytical, strategy and problem-solving skills
- The ability to prioritize requests and issues based on an understanding of their scope and impact
- Ability to work both independently and in coordination with other team members
- Excellent written and verbal communications in English
- Understanding of some of the following: Trading Systems, Market Making ,CFDs, Cryptos, Indices, Market Data Feeds, KYC/AML processes and regulations, Options Trading
